Experience Stable and Secure Dentures

Wouldn’t it be great if your dentures fit snugly and stayed in place? We use strategically placed dental implants to create a customized, implant-retained denture that snaps securely into place. The result is amazing stability that restores natural function.

What are Overdentures?

Overdentures are a tooth replacement option that combines the state-of-the-art technology of dental implants with a more traditional method of replacing missing teeth, dentures. They provide a secure and long-lasting tooth replacement option. If you've lost all or most of your teeth, overdentures might be the replacement option that's best for you.

How are they different?

Overdentures can replace all of the teeth in the upper and lower jaw. They are most commonly used on the lower jaw as they provide more support and stability than traditional dentures.

How do Overdentures work?

Getting implant-supported dentures is a multi-step process. During the first phase, your dentist will place implants, which are titanium posts, into your jawbone. Over the next few months, the implants will fuse with the jawbone, becoming securely attached. Once the implants are ready, your dentist will fit dentures to your mouth. The dentures attach to the implants and are held securely in place. You will be able to remove the dentures as needed, but they will be stable when in function. They need to be removed regularly so they can be cleaned while your tissues are taking a break and a breather.

Tiers of Treatment

We offer three tiers of treatment for both Upper and Lower Overdentures

Good

2 Implant-supported Overdenture with Palate

Using 2 dental implants to support a denture offers remarkably more stability than without implants, however you may still experience some movement of the denture during chewing. Two implants are precisely placed for the denture to snap on to. Adding the palate coverage increases suction and enhances denture stability.

Better

4 Implant-supported Overdenture (no palate)

By doubling the number of implants, the denture experiences increased stability. Four implants are precisely placed for the denture to snap on to. The use of 4 implants removes virtually all denture movement, allowing you to regain bite force and chewing strength. This approach also stabilizes bone loss and reduces pressure on the gums.

Best

4 Implant-supported Bar Overdenture (no palate)

Delivering the best support of all the overdenture options, it includes everything the 4 Implant-supported Overdenture provides with a significant stabilizing addition. The overdenture is retained by a bar, which splints the implants together, providing for the ultimate in denture stability.
