As a dental assistant at Oral Implants and Reconstructive Dentistry, Delaney prepares patient rooms and assists the doctors in procedures and treatments.
“I love making my patients feel comfortable and relaxed as much as possible throughout the process. It can be scary to not know what’s happening with hands in your mouth, suction noises, drills, and words that you don’t understand. So I enjoy being able to ease that anxiety by explaining in layman’s terms and tips to relax them.”
She chose to work in dentistry because of her interest in the medical field. Delaney starts nursing school in the fall of 2020 at Mount Carmel. She also finds delight in working next to her father, Dr. Heller. Delaney is the youngest of Dr. Heller’s four daughters.
Delaney spends her free time lifting weights, baking, playing with her dog, and spending time with her family.
